LAUREN COOK2My practice involves exploring the malleable nature of physical identity and the space in which one inhabits. It really interests me how the change of social norms can make apparent ones physical presence within a space and I believe that by making interaction suggestible and obligational in art opens the possibility of interpretation. I am interested in creating a connection between performer and objects and then between performance and viewer; exploring what can be inferred through interaction and also initiating an experience where questions are proposed about personal space and communication within it.
