Ritualistic nothingness. Stylised boredom. Anticipation, expectation and disappointment. Meaningless actions. Time wasting. Loud silences. Total Vacuity. Durational endurance. Being too late. You missed it! It’s finished. My artistic practice is in a state of flux, so each performance or piece of art is also ongoing, unfinished, forever improving or getting worse. What if it was all just meaningless? I explore absence of intention and voids of reason or action. So I utilise my body to explore the boundary of performance and sculpture. I procrastinate and do nothing, I emphasise mistakes and accidents. I like to push the audience into realising that boredom is entirely optional; only boring people get bored.
