My practice consists of illusions in a visual sense and an aspect of double image that generates discord of the mind, trickery, and deceit. With my previous work I have been focused on tricking the viewer into thinking something fake and unreal, whilst juggling how they would look and think about the process of the piece but starving them from offering a definitive end result; a lie is generated to distract the audience from the illusion and how it was formed (due to the combination of different painted subjects and the flatness that the camera creates). My more recent work maintains this secret regarding the methods of process whilst hiding the whole illusion as well as the chosen model/subject, it then becomes associated with an underlying task of finding something hidden and discreet. Overall my work has a focal point designed around colour, pixels, and the illusion that they create.
